With the housing market pricing being the way it is,it's a scary thing to sign on the dotted line. A mortgage payment that looks good on paper may not always look that way in real life. My father always told me to buy what you can afford, not what you want. We bought what we could afford almost 40 years ago, and we're in that same house with an added addition on it and now at this age I'm ready to happily live in 176 square feet camper trailer!

In our culture, we mix the octopus with extra virgin olive oil and onion. We boil white sweet potatoes, green bananas and cassava and add that to a bowl. We have by this time-soaked dry codfish and boiled out the salt over days. We add this to the starches. Then add the octopus to it. If it's chewy and tough, it's overcooked. This is more of a Lent dish.

I forgot: if you're going to continue to cook the octopus, reduce the cooking time when frying. It's like cooking pasta. If you're making baked ziti, you'll cook the pasta until al dente because it's going in the oven for a longer cooking time.

We make octopus stew, Portuguese recipe, cut the octopus into pieces cook it with spices of choice, when octopus is starting to get tender, add cubed potatoes. My husband's favorite!

You can cook octopus with sake or whiskey in the water to use as a tenderizer. Actually we eat them with soy paste also called miso seasoned with sugar and small amount of vinegar as a dipping sauce. Yummy.

If you don't catch enough seafood of the same kind, combine it and you'll have a seafood melody. I use the melody, shrimp, class, crab, octopus, calamari and make Alfredo sauce and put it over pasta and have bread to dip in Alfredo sauce. It is so good. The seafood, you can season the way you like to get the flavor you like. You can do it plain or spice which ever suits you.

I hope earnest money was involved in the contract of your home. Strong personalities can be a bit of a distraction in real estate deals. I smoke meats all the time. On my beef brisket you are dealing with lots more fat than lean deer family meat. Beef tallow is really good to put on your deer family cuts of meat that are being smoked. Mustard is used to rub down your meat before you season it with rub, it is a great binder. Tallow is placed on the meat when you wrap it. I use butcher paper instead of foil. Allows smoke to reach the meat to get that good bark and smoke ring. Great video.

Praying for your home to sell for you soon. 🙏 Love octopus! Calamari with marinara sauce is so delicious, which we use to get at an Italian restaurant when they had it. We use to get smoked octopus in a can at the grocery store, but they no longer carry it. I saw it was on Amazon in the grocery section, but WOW! It is expensive now! It use to come in a can like the sardines, which I love in mustard, but apparently it is now considered a delicacy if you don’t have a fresh fish market nearby. The smoked salmon looked absolutely delicious, too! I also like to bake it in butter, lightly salted, and add some soy sauce. Simple but really delicious with rice, snow peas, and a toss salad. I also enjoy some Iceland cod soup. Just put it in some chicken broth, add some diced onions, several garlic cloves crushed, and mixed vegetables and some diced up potatoes, salt and pepper, and a little parsley sprinkled in. Add a dash of paprika on top when it’s served. Love it on a cold day! Have to say I’ve never had moose before, but what you fixed looked scrumptious! Now, I have to agree with Wyatt. I love a cheese stuffed crust pepperoni pizza! Really yummy when it’s a deep dish pizza. Can never have enough cheese! Love it when the crust is brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with some basil and parmigiana cheese. Now that’s a pizza! Your desserts looked delicious, Priscilla! Avalon, banana bread is so good warm served with a drizzle of warm maple syrup, a good cup of coffee on the side, too. I so enjoy some moist pumpkin muffins with chopped pecans and crispy fried bacon mixed into the batter. 😋 If you haven’t had it before give it a try. The garage turned out beautiful, and the twins did a great job. Glad the little one Chloe is feeling better, too! A happy Thanksgiving to all of you as well! octopus had it once when I was working on Okiawa back about 15 years ago. My co-worker Akiko who lives there insisted i tried it and many other seafood items ove the 2 weeks I was there. The taste was good but the texture was a bit chewy, id eat it again if it was availble but I didn't like it enough to purposely seek more out since then ;)

Order or get some Wagyu beef tallow, I think Wal-Mart might even sell it, put some on your moose brisket when you wrap it and it should help keep the meat moist.

Hi, I must admit that the workmanship done by Joas and the twins is generally outstanding. The garage heating system was the control cable installed in trunking and the gas and power lines also neatly installed? As for the lights on the boat, twisting them and putting the heat shrink over as protection in a marine environment is not the right way. The wires should have been joined with an inline ferrule crimp making a good joint to take the current and then heat shrink as water protection.

God took care of the issue with selling your home by sending you to talk to the buyer. Like you said it was something a seller may never actually do but God put in your heart to go talk to them! It was an issue in the contract that needed to be fixed and it was taken care of. He turned your mountain into a mole hill! You didn't know what was wrong but God did! He knows all. And.....I could almost taste the Copper Red salmon! Delicious!
