I have tried so many inks over the years but always come back to MB inks. Perhaps they don’t have thousands of shades but I don’t mind that as I write daily and find pale or crazy coloured inks hard to read so keep to saturated darker shades and MB do these so well, my current favourite is the burgundy red. Their inks are always consistent in flow and behaviour and never ever dry up and never created problems with any of my new or vintage pens.

Am achizitionat recent un 149 Orient Express si a venit in cutie cu o sticla de Royal Blue. Multumesc pentru review.

I am just beginning to learn about Pens and Inks. I enjoyed this very much. But I must confess; I was distracted by your beautiful "Dog" pen and ink tray, the 1953 Sonic 111 Extra and the 1987 Pelikan Youdain N800. You have many beautiful things.

With my obsession with Parker Quink Washable Blue, I was interested in this similar ink. I'll concede Montblanc has the nicer bottle. Like you, I find different behavior in different pens. I will have to find a sample of this one: I plan on a "Royal Blue" video this summer.

I think the Parker Quink is a nice lubricated ink. I will also do video with a Battle Royal of the blue inks. I am still buying this ink color from different producers.

Dipping a pen gives exceptionally wet results and it doesn't show how the ink performs from a filled pen. But, you know this. I am none the wiser about this ink.

Thank you! I will keep that information in mind, sir, for my next reviews.

@@ThePenCollectorBogdan That is very kind of your Sir :) I forgot it was your first go at reviewing inks. And, in all honesty, I would not have done as well.

Can someone explain the “ink shortage” Montblanc claims they are having? Is diamine having shortages?
@ThePenCollectorBogdan3 жыл бұрын
I am sorry but maybe this shortages are related to the Covid pandemic. I will ask other better informed people and see what they have to say about this problem.

Pelikans and the mont blanc wrote quite well. I am surprised that the lamy 2k did not write dark as them. I am wondering this blue is permanent or there is a different permanent blue from mont blanc?
@ThePenCollectorBogdan3 жыл бұрын
In the video at 03:29 minute I mention the permanent blue and the permanent black. The Royal Blue is not a permanent ink.
