The reason the hits don’t register when he’s dragging is because while someone is flashing red from damage, they are completely immune to all other damage until they are no longer flashing. So in theory, drag clicking is only useful in PvP because you take less knockback.

that's not what he meant by ''register''. he meant that where he was supposed to get a hit he didn't. you can see many times where particles are showing but the player doesn't turn red

The hits aren't registering because there is a CPS cap for Hypixel. If you are clicking above 20 cps then it won't register. This is also one of the reasons why people butterfly click slow in Bedwars instead of fast, so that they wont reach 20.
