I’ve rediscovered what the other garden I referred to is. Las Pozas in the jungle in Mexico. A surrealist playground full of bizarre concrete structures financed by English nobleman Edward James who owned Monkton House at West Dean in Sussex, England. So this Monte Garden I’ve never heard of before. Amazing what time, money & imagination can achieve!

Thanks for the Tour Rachel! What an extraordinary place. I’ve seen a documentary about a similar sized garden full of odd & bizarre buildings, statue’s & ornamentation & wondered if this might be it, but it seems not. This is too ordered & tidy to be it.
