It never ceases to amaze me that Randy was 22 when he wrote this stuff. Chops from hell but taste, too, to make the chops subservient to the song (kudos to Bob Daisley for helping Randy mature as a writer).

Just something about this song. The composition is just so poetically mesmerizing. RR was something else. Not everyone can compose music like this at 23 years old.

Wow holy f#×k my wife is a huge Madonna fan and myself an Ozzy. I showed her this and even she was like dang. He is amazing and played it note for note without missing a beat. Thank you for your tribute to Randy Rhoads who I heard at the age of 8 in the early 80s. Keep rocking on brudda

There are some live version by Ozzy himself with Randy Rhoadss... the footage it bad when it comes to image quality, but still performed perfectly, theres a remastrered audio version from an Ozzy Show, the "Tribute" version.

Randy had those babies gained out with DiMarzio Super Distortion, MXR DIST+, yet controlled that rig that was trying to run away with feedback at every opportunity. His rig control was otherworldly.

Agreed... He did a really "good" job, but Randy's subtle nuances and phrasing can't be copied. I have yet to see anyone do more than just a good job at covering his songs.

Epic. Revelation solo at the end is TOUGH. He killed it. Probably best version I’ve heard. The phrasing in the solo is very difficult and most very accomplished players have difficulty pulling it off. I’ve heard Zakk Wylde both nail and flub it.

the most curious thing is that he knows Rhoads family. Kelle Rhoads played on piano on his second solo album. and he took music theory and piano lessons from Delores Rhoads.

Why would a talented guitarist be needed for Madonna concerts? That would be too easy---he'd only have to play 2 or 3 notes while the keyboardist and drum machine programmer does the rest.
