I wouldnt say he nailed Mr Crowley, 3:34 the back to back riff is not done the same, the second part of that riff is supposed to hit a higher note. The riff at 3:54 is not exactly the same , some what close. They still sound good? Yes, they are awesome , but they are not identical to how Randy played. it. this is the riff im talking about kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWSvp5uae6qCp9U at the 5 minute mark.

Actually his parts are not difficult at all due to him haaving such tiny hands . There are no huge stretches of anything thats difficult for people who don't have big hands , it's just repeated patterns over and over. I bought the Tribute guitar book and found it much easier to follow than many other famous guitarists of that time.

As a player I was going to concerts in the 80s wanting to see how close the guitarist could come to playing live what they had recorded on their records. Being young I thought that was a measure of how good they were. I also wanted to learn their licks by watching them. To keep this short and not name them all. The second time I saw randy perform he did crazy train and Mr Crowley to near perfection. I thought I would have years of watching him play. You brought back some memories. That's a great video and really good playing. Nice flying V you got there.

wow! Wow! WOW! First off, best wishes to you! I just woke up this Sunday morning and, apparently, overnight I had dreamed about watching Randy playing “Over the Mountain”. So the moment I was awake enough to grab my phone, I immediately searched KZbin for that song. First on the list that came up was Satsuma3042, whom I’ve watched and admired for close to a decade. Usually I have “Autoplay” disabled but for some reason (and to my surprise), this time I didn’t and your video began playing! Probably at that moment, I developed the biggest smile that I’ve had in quite a while! 😃 There have been more than a few times that I’ve silently thought to myself that I’d sell my soul (jokingly, of course.. or maybe not..😆🤔😉) in exchange to have the talent and ability to play these songs/solos as you have done. This is exactly the motivation I need to dig out the ole guitar and have some “me” time. I feel sure that I’m not the only one inspired by this video. So, on behalf of all of us, I send you a sincere “Thank you” for putting this collection together!!!

Thank you for keeping Randy's music alive. You have obviously studied these solos down to the smallest detail, because your covers are as close as I've seen, and likely to see. Randy would be proud. I was fortunate to see Randy live with the original line up on the Blizzard of Ozz tour and also at one of the few UK venues for the Diary of a Madman tour. I was 14 at the time and I hope your passion for Randy's music lives on as mine has. All the best for the future.

Where did you see Blizzard in UK? I saw them at Port Vale but was with Tommy Langridge and Rudy Sarzo not Daisley/Kerslake.

So if Ozzy could ever go back in time you would be the man with the demise of Randy . You were absolutely on point ( flawless) and EVERYONE should know your name . Your like RR reborn. Superb!👏👏

This is the CLEANEST cover I've heard on KZbin. I've played Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley. And I can honestly say you only missed ONE NOTE on Crazy Train. That's incredible because the ONLY person I've ever seen hit every last note was Randy Rhoads himself. Awesome spectacular job! DAMN I'm jealous. 😄😄 Jk

I was listening to Randy and youtube sent me here. I had to look up to verify this is NOT Randy playing. I'm strictly Randy crazy by the way. I'm one of the rare fans who didn't put two and two together about his death until not too long ago. I spent the 80's working and going to school, yada yada. So finding out he was gone blew me away. But obviously he's not gone. He's here, 100% alive in his music. So grateful for your determination to play as well as he did and I've got to say there's only a teeny bit of difference, barely noticeable. I sure didn't until I looked up! Thank you, thank you!
