If you have customers you will soon know Montech. They are without a doubt one of the best cost to utility case brands on the market, you can feel secure your customers will be happy and issue free while keeping the cost lower but still profitable and far cooler and better looking than standard SSI and big box store offers. Their fans are not duds and maybe not the quietest fans out there they won't sound like a jetliner in your PC space.

Really like this case, just did a build in it. HOWEVER, I had a couple of issues mostly related to clearances. Using a 360 AIO which it says it supports, radiator and fans are within the limits they indicate they support. Clearance for the EPS cables is extremely tight, almost impossible whether using custom sleeved cables or the PSU cables. Similarly, the bend required for the 24 pin power cable is very tight. Even with sleeved cables that are very flexible. The other issue then is space for cable management in the back. With cables extensions, it's managable, but difficult to get the back of the case on. This case would be perfect IF it were just a little longer and a little wider with just a shade more space in the back for cable management. It wouldn't have to be much, but right now it is fine for air cooling, but difficult for a 360 AIO. I wouldn't even try a 280; a 240 would work, but I prefer 360. For right around $100 or just a little over, you can get a more roomier case without these issues.

I've built a few of their cases. They're not bad. Definitely the best value you'll find for the price in most cases. You have to be mindful that not ALL Montech cases come with controllable fans. Many come with rainbow vomit only.

Great review. Should it become available in the UK, I'll be recommending it. Next time, please mention that the fans are PWM straight off. You mentioned that the MSI motherboard has the x16 slot two slots down. That excites me: do you still have a Nofan CR95 cooler knocking around? I'm wondering if it will fit a LGA 1700 socket and cool a low power 13th gen CPU when you have a GPU installed.

Your reviews are so thorough, thanks. I recently bought the Montech and I have a 7900X, cooled by a Thermalright Frost Spirit 140. Temps are all fine but I'm struggling with a strange noise coming from the case, it almost sounds like a whislting wind - less whistle and more ghost "woo" sound, like a ringing sound. It's really annoying and I haven't figured it out. I do think it's coming from the montech case fans. When I unplugged them the computer was pretty quiet, and I didn't notice this odd sound. I need to investigate more. I'm considering changing them out. I really don't mind fan noise, but this whirring/ringing/'woo sound (and it changes) is unbearable.

excelent video as usual. just one thing, this case comes with a 6 hub fan on the back. If i want to put another fan on the botton and 3 on top does the montech triple fan pack (wich comes with a 6 hub fan) , be connect to the hub that comes with the case so that i can connect all of the fans and sync all of them?
@銀河光芒3 ай бұрын
I have six connected to a hub that connects to an ARGB connector on the motherboard, and the seventh directly to another ARGB connector on the motherboard. By using software for ARGB control, you can make all seven lights shine in a unified manner. The LED button on the case can only control fans connected to the hub. It should not be used if there are more than 7 fans. I have confirmed that it works well with MSI and ASRock motherboards, but when using motherboards with USB connectors facing sideways, it will interfere with the case. An adapter that converts it to a right angle is effective.
@Dakhanavar993 ай бұрын
@@銀河光芒 i have a B550 Tomahawk, so what you're saying is , to connect 6 fans to the hub that comes with the case, and the triple pack fans wich comes with another hub connect it to one of the argb connector on the motherboard, having 2 independent hubs but it can be controlled has one
@銀河光芒3 ай бұрын
@@Dakhanavar99 I kind of understand what you want to say now. The hub that comes with the case can connect 6 fans, but if you have more than that, you may run out of power. So I recommend using two ARGB connectors on the motherboard and synchronizing all the fans using software. (One connector on the motherboard can connect up to three fans. Anything more than that may become unstable.) I'm sorry if this reply is misguided!
@銀河光芒Ай бұрын
Hello, I was curious about your question, so I tried adding a 7th ARGB to the hub using a splitter cable, and the result was a success. I was able to synchronize 7 fans with the case LED switch. PMW6 + ARGB7 may be the limit of the total power. If you want to increase it more, it may be safer to move the PMW to the motherboard. PWM requires more power than ARGB, so removing just one can reduce the total watts.
@FeRos-TI11 ай бұрын
