YO I LOVED THIS SONG! During this era you had the R. Kelly sound (R. Kelly, Aaliyah), the NYC sound (with Jodeci and Mary) and the West Coast sound (Brandy, Montel and ADina Howard) ruling the charts!

0:48 - “Call her up on my cellular...” This was in ‘95! Young’n’s have no idea & clueless in grasping the sheer, supreme level of flex mentioned there. To have ur own “cellular” at that time = u’re a true, certified baller/playa. A time during which the Motorola “beepers” continued reigning the land as the technological status symbol piece to own. Man, I miss that time

Right, you better tell him. I remember being shocked, when I saw kids under the age of seven, with cell phones, for the first time.

Reason why I miss the 90s: - better rnb music - rap/hip-hop was in it's golden age - better films - the attitude era in wrestling - sports especially football was in a much better state financially and morally - better cartoons - no bs talent shows and the age of celebrity wasn't in existence

Can't hold back my tears when ever I listened and watched the video of this song, not because the song is emotional but the time this song came out in 1996 I was 12 life was just easy as Chil,no crimes and division among the Tribes and religion in Nigeria back then, everything was just good our older brothers always tune to the channels on radio and television each time American musics would be aired. I really missed those good old days. From Nigeria

***** I met him once right before he got saved. Was giving him shit for being that tall and not being able to hoop worth a damn. lol. And for being a Kappa. But he was a genuine guy. Fame definitely didnt go to his head or take a toll on him. That was very clear in that encounter. Very respectful. Kind of through me for a loop a bit. Montell is definitely the homie. He really put out some quality albums, all of them were very solid. At this point its not even about him putting out new material, i just wish he did a tour with some other rnb acts and performed some hits, but i also understand he has another calling in life now. i cant shade that a bit. But beyond that, he is a nice guy. I mean, he want the ugly one to have fun too!!! : )

I listen to this 3x a day since I re-discovered the song. Loved him when I was 10 in 95. Miss the 90's and Montell's sexy behind. R&B in the 90's had some swagger and a smoothness to it. That is completely missing today. Today's R&B/Hip=Hop is trashy, with a few notable exceptions.
