Hey All. I am local. I have climbed Toubkal mount three times in different seasons and i did not have the chance to step a foot on a virgin area of snow where nobody does before. You are lucky guys, i really liked the shooting of the video. you professionals. Enjoy the forthcoming treks

Hey +Chahoub Rachid. Yes we were very lucky to have this experience with the virgin snow. We had to return to Imlil after been staying at the refugee, due to a storm. Thank you very much and enjoy the Atlas Mountains - amazing place.

Sure is - no need for rope. 3-4 hours up from the refugee and you will meet many people on the route.

Thanks a lot my friend !! I really love this mountain and i climbed it 4 times in different months: September, October, November and January. It can be climbed anytime of the year but it is up to you what is best. In the summer you won't have any snow at all at the hike in the valley will be really warm. In september/October you might have some snow close to the summit and lower temperatures in the valley and around the refugee which will make it way more comfortable to do the hike. In November-march you are pretty sure to have most of the mountain covered in snow and ice which forces you to use crampons and ice axe. You need to be aware that the winter will require you to be more aware and in fairly better shape - and the need for a guide or a group would be relevant if you are not experienced with alpine trekking. Let me know about your experience when you succeeds. Best regards

@@MontemAdventureTutorials Hello, I am very fit and young, so regarding fitness its all good, I have made some pretty big hikes but never with crampons. Is this a problem for November?

Thanks for the video mate i have some questions for you 1. Can you safely leave luggage in either the refuge or somewhere in Imlil? I do not plan to hire a mule 2. Would it be easy and safe to acquire a guide in Imlil or do i need to book someone? Thanks
@MontemAdventureTutorials
@MontemAdventureTutorials 9 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching :) 1: You can safely leave it in the refuge and probably also in Imlil! I left my laptop at the hotel in Marrakech, but that was just because of the temperature. I never heard about any kind of theft in the refuge or Imlil so you can leave your luggage both places, without worries. 2: I've no experience with the guides - but i met a lot of people who acquried a guide in Imlil with great succes. There's a lot of small local trekkingagencies in Imlil and you can easily acquire one when you arrive in Imlil. Safe trip

Super fed video!
