Reminds me of that one Joy Division song… “When routine bites hard and ambitions are low And resentment rides high but emotions won't grow And we're changing our ways, taking different roads Love, love will tear us apart again.” … Look, with all due respect… I found something that makes me happy and gives me a sense of purpose. Something that actually gets me out of bed in the morning. Metal Detecting has been a vehicle of positive change in my life in more ways than one. Physically, socially, financially, mentally, you name it. Magnet fishing was fun while it lasted, but it was merely a stepping my stone on my path to finding a hobby and lifestyle that truly resonates with me on a personal level and brings me true joy. I only have 2 or 3 real places to maget fish where I live and they’re all fished out now. Magnet fishing in Monterey is not sustainable from a content creator perspective. That alone would have put an end to the videos. Part of the reason I took an interest in metal detecting is that there was simply nothing left to find with the magnet, but I’m surrounded by busy and scenic tourist beaches and parks. I understand that Metal Detecting may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for me it’s my outlet for adventure and creativity, it’s my only way of finding a bit of peace in this chaotic world and I do not intend on stopping, slowing down, or apologizing for it any time soon. ✌️

I’m using their original titanium scoop with the one piece handle. If you’re doing dry sand or calm water it’s a good one because it’s very lightweight. If you’re digging in the surf you may need something a bit heavier/larger.

Yo MM, how did you get to these delta tones as you called them ? I googled that but could not find anything on it. I love those tones !

You just gotta go over to your tones in the settings and select “dP”. Only downside to using them is you have to hunt with your screen because everything sounds the same.

@@MontereyMagnetMan thank you for the reply brother man. I’m going to give it a shot. I’m super new to detecting but i think this 900 falses a ton. Unless of course I’m doing something wrong. I have a lot of black sand where i detect so maybe that’s the problem.

It does false a ton 😂 try lowering the sensitivity a bit also, if you haven’t already. I was running it around 14 - 18 this day. Also a smaller coil will help in black sands
