Scoop handle works better on larger heavier scoops. Especially when your starting to go deep in the wet sand. Otherwise their just awkward.

Yea it was good for deep digging and shaking the sand out. But it was making me drop the scoop so often. And getting caught up on my finds bag. I tried putting it lower but it was still annoying

Yea it’s been pretty dry everywhere lately. I was surprised how many pennies I found down there. Hopefully the spring break crowd brings all their rings and coins to the beach this year 😂

Try lowering that handle so that it sits about 1.5' from the scoop. Only use it when lifting the scoop to shake off the sand.

I tried moving it around to different spots, still not feelin it. Also that little handle is heavy, it weighs almost as much as my whole scoop 😂

You seem to find lots of ends to shotgun shells. I'm wondering if there may be shooting ranges that are near beach areas, that get pushed onto beaches during erosion or rainy periods? I lived 37 yrs in San Diego and 18 yrs in the Bay Area, and I don't recall any target shooting going on at local beaches. Anyways Happy Hunting Bro. 👍

I had a theory that they were coming from way up river. Maybe people were duck hunting along the water many years ago and the storms finally broke them loose. I found one today that had a year on it.. 1901!

Hey dude you don't like handle if Don't want it I take it. Take a little time to get used to it I put mine lower where it is more balanced all so twisted off the center line of shaft. this should leave enough shaft to tuck under your under arm and twist and shake will sift shake sand out. But yah you don't like pass it my way.
