I remember when the steel foundry there before it was shutdown, torn down, and converted into a park. Literally hundreds of employees worked at that foundry around the clock seven days a week. When it shutdown it was a major blow to Monterrey’s economy. Today it’s converted into a park with a river walk that is connected to the historic district and downtown. That footage brought back many memories etched in my mine as a kid who spent summers in Monterrey, Mexico. Thanks for posting!!!
