My son is near her age. Can you share more on how your playing with the peak a boo boxes? We just got ours. He’s almost 15 months & am curious how you’re presenting / playing with it.

The peak-a-boo boxes are so great. There really are a lot of ways you can utilize them. For one example, You can just use the tray itself since they have the colors on them and bring a few objects that coordinate with the same colors or use the corresponding shape that it comes with and have your son sort them on the tray. When I present the shape sorters I do them one or two at a time. Start with the easiest shape to get their confidence up and when they master it then move onto the next. Eventually you can present more than one at a time.

Yes, beautiful, but i meant More „too much“. Isn‘t Montessori More about something Else than stuff? And shouldnt we start to consume less (what also fits the Montessori philosophy more)?

@@anapunkt4418 Montessori is about following the child and giving them the necessary tools and environment in which to thrive in. I do that every day. These items are NOT stuff. They are simple wooden toys that aid my daughter in working towards mastering certain skills. They are not busy, or loud or battery operated things. You will find blocks, legos, a doll, and sensory items in any Montessori setting. You can choose to have all, some or none of these items if you choose in your own setting. We homeschool so there is a lot more liberty taken with the items we choose to display and we have the space in which to display them in an orderly way. Hope that gives you a better sense of information when it comes to Montessori parenting. ❤️
