It's only when it's really busy that you have to mess about with a longer cable but we carry 25m arctic grade cable now which pretty much covers any eventuality!

Are these Aires a first come basis? It doesn't look like they can be booked. If we were going out over half-term where would you recommend for an Aire that is most likely to have spaces? Is there a hook up for each space and is the cost included in the price on that board? Cheers.

Hi Richard - most aires are first come first served - some with the number of nights you can stay restricted but nobody usually to enforce that - there are a few you can book in advance - and no, not all have hook up so it pays to do a bit of planning! At Montgenevre there is hook up for each space and it is included. There are a couple of aires we'd suggest for half term if you're restricted to those dates - this one and Alpe d'Huez if you can survive without hook up - suggest you take a look at the Winterised.com website as there's loads of info there you might find helpful! Also check out the Facebook group - search 'Winterised motorhome, campervan and caravan skiing and boarding' - massive gob full we know!

No - we don't like motorhoming in summer so full-time doesn't work for us! Might change our minds at some point but not our bag!

Hey Eric! Definately need / should have winter tyres. They're pretty much essential in our view ... You might get away with it, you might not... Also, legal requirement in some places...
