These are a heavy duty set of pliers but compared to some of it contemporizes the jaws are a bit bulk and could have a better designed mid jaw gripping section.

Yup...the pattern on the handle was used by Cresent Tool Company, New York. I have a vintage 6-1/2" pair of Cee Tee Co. slip-joint pliers that also have the wide jaw and same pattern on the handle (crosshatched with center dots) though not the same chrome finish. It was fun pulling out all my pliers from the tool box after watching your video. Thanks catus.

I have pliers that are stamped Montgomery Ward Powr Kraft with the thinner jaws and chevron grip pattern. Made in Japan.
