Yep. I think MLK realized that too late. One of the last things he said to Harry Belafonte before he was assassinated was "I fear I have led my people into a burning house." He realized that to try out this newfound "freedom" black people were going to flock to white businesses to spend their money. Another thing, looking back at these "sit-ins" I shake my head. Imagine sitting in a restaurant demanding to be served by people that hate your guts, and have them take your money for something that they probably did some foul shit to before serving it to you.

@Lovely_Day because they are backed up by your governement. everytime someone is about to be put in the right place chosen by the people they get killed. in your history and in ours and in others. and who has always a hand in it .. the us governement. once again miss me with that bs. the us governement bombed tuscane and destroyed black wallstreet, y'all were the first "freed" slaves but at what price did that "freedom" come? I can walk around in the country of our colonizers(belgium- congo ) without the fear of getting killed by the cops can you? the fact that you are comparing a continent that is still trying to recover while still being influenced by the outside world with the us shows your american mentality .. yemen, libya, syria, iraq, afganistan, the list goes on...

You guys are awesome. I'm from the Senegambia region and I'm impressed by how you guys budget your money. Yes, Gambia is way cheaper, and I remember back in the day how our Senegalese cousins (Senegalese merchants) used to commute to Gambia to buy products and resell in Senegal. Still to this day, Gambia is much cheaper than Senegal although Senegal is more economically advanced and bigger. Welcome to Gambia and I'm glad you are enjoying the country. Once you own your own home and stop paying rent your bills will be much less. The only thing you will have to pay is rates - which is not expandisve at all. I'm glad that Blacks from the diaspora are moving to Africa. I rather have Blacks acquire land in Africa than non-Blacks. On a side note, has the Queen of the house learned how to cook benachin and supa kanja yet? Lol. Also, have you made lots of friends in Gambia? This is possibly one of your biggest services to the diaspora community. One of the ways that ppl lose faith in Gambia is when they feel cheated by Gambians trying to make a buck on their ignorance of local prices. It dials up frustration and makes the struggle to stay, survive and thrive harder. A great instructional video. Kudos

you see how expensive to local people Gambia is -salary is about 2000 dalasis ,, even less than that,, bag of rice cost around 1000 D

I have so much respect for you guys, I've recently discovered your channel and I'm watching for 3 hour straight! So natural and pure! The love between you guys is amazing! That's how life's supposed to be! Keep up the good work! I was born in the Caribbean and I've been living in Europe for most of my life. I've always wanted to go Africa. 2 years ago I met a guy who had businesses in Ghana and he revived my idea to move to Africa. I know many skilled black / mixed professionals who are willing to move to Africa and help to build up. I wanted to go to Ghana But The Gambia sounds pretty cool to me. I'd love to visit you guys once I get there

Remember they still have huge saving before they come to Ghambia and he might still a pensioner. They are not obliged to respond to your question. Working for over 30 years in the US is enough to answer your question.

I really am impressed and inspired, this couple are truly friends, soulmates and genuinely love one another, that in itself says a lot, they are on a lifelong journey of discovery of new things, people, and new challenges, they have a life long solid history which is a rarity in today’s society, wishing them many continued blessings of prosperity and the simplicity of life ❤️
