Loved the video! Though I want to comment on some things. 1. From what I learned, it’s better to put the bag of food in the bin instead of dumping it into the bin. What that causes is oxidation and makes the food go bad faster and microplastics from the bins can get into the food. 2. The treats are full of starches. It may contain fruits and other stuff but it’s not healthy. What I would recommend is Purebites, Vital essentials, or Farm hounds. It’s all meat and no sugar or starches. 3. About the plaque busters, it has starches which is not beneficial at all for them. You could instead give them air dried or freeze dried bones like chicken feet or duck feet or wing.

Love the videos, I get so much inspiration from them and have learned so much! I was curious on if you only feed them kibble or sprinkle on additional items every now and again? I'd love to watch a 'what I feed my dogs daily' video! ♥

I can definitely film that!! I love the idea!! They do get meal toppers frequently or ways that I change up their kibble to make it a little better for them, I'd love to share! 🫶🏼

Is there a reason you switched Freya from Zignatures to Acana? I am still settling on a dog food for my pup and wondered if you had any insider knowledge that led to the switch 😄 Thanks!!

Gah! So stoked whenever you post a new vid! How did you know she was allergic to chicken? My mini goldendood, Kobe is 12 weeks and he's my first pup ever--just tryna to watch out for signs. Just a newbie dog mama tryna learn all the things 😅

Hi! Check the ingredients of your dog food. You would normally know after feeding your dog specially if it’s new food and they get an upset stomach (diarrhea, vomiting). It could be the case 😊

Girl!! So proud that u give ur dogs Acana and Orijen they r the best kibble I’ve seen. If my dog didn’t have insane allergies I would give my dog those brands.. also HIGHLY recommend getting a elk antler! It’s the same as a Benebone except the little tiny chipped pieces or crumbs are digestible for dogs(however if the dogs break off a chunk it could cause problems like a benebone) but my dog loves antlers!👍👏🏻

It looks like my previous comment about DCM got deleted for some reason. But do you research on dilated cardiomyopathy and dogs. It’s a very real risk especially for golden retrievers. We know several that have had this problem, one of which was on Acana
@FreyaAndBeyla Жыл бұрын
I haven't seen anything on this and Golden Retrievers. Cornell University did studies on it & here's the synopsis: Canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a primary disease of cardiac muscle that results in a decreased ability of the heart to generate pressure to pump blood through the vascular system. The definitive cause of canine DCM is the subject of debate, although a number of factors including nutritional, infectious, and genetic predisposition have been implicated. The fact that canine DCM occurs at a higher incidence in specific breeds suggests a heritable genetic component to this disease, although it is likely that it’s etiology is multifactorial. Breeds predisposed to DCM include the Doberman Pinscher, the Great Dane, the Boxer, and the Cocker Spaniel. Dietary carnitine deficiency may play a role in some cases of Boxer DCM, and taurine responsive DCM has been identified in Cocker Spaniels.

@@FreyaAndBeyla not sure why you keep deleting my comments...I have said nothing offensive or derogatory, just simply sharing articles and resource. Just trying to help spread awareness for DCM as I know multiple dogs affected. I know your videos get a lot of views and I think it's important for people to be aware of possible preventable conditions, I also just think it's important for people to have as much information as possible so that they can make the best decision for themselves and their families. Wishing you and your pups the best!

@@KayleighJernigan I'm sorry - I haven't been deleting anything, there are comments that get held by KZbin that I have to manually go through to "approve" if they flag it as something I might want to look over, and I don't go through that folder of comments very often as they're usually any links that get commented (because they are flagged as spam to deter phishing & folks clicking on unsafe links), hateful messages, etc. - so they're probably sitting in that folder for me to go through. You are more than welcome to comment as you wish and I love the helpful tips/hacks/info for the doggos 100%. This is the first comment I've seen from you regarding this topic so I was just responding with the information that I have gathered on the subject as well. I didn't mean for that comment back to come across anything other than also sharing the information that I have found on the subject. I love the conversation and am always open to learning new things and checking into things I didn't know about before.
