A dry and painful scalp may be associated with a different condition other than female pattern hair loss, so this needs to be diagnosed. Also, the number of sessions needed does vary, and the longevity of results is unpredictable. Hi abhi 0709, There are many causes of hair shedding, such as normal, day-to-day shedding; shedding from the trauma of scalp injections; induced shedding after scalp injections so thinning hair can grow back thicker, etc. Hair shedding can occur after your first treatment, or after any scalp treatment, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Hi Dave Dom, We do have patients coming every day from around the world to the US for the Hair Regeneration treatment. Since it is a non-surgical treatment with little to no recovery time, and in many cases no additional treatment, you don't need an extended stay in the US. Many patients actually get back on the plane home the same day as treatment, but I don't recommend this for everyone as it is dependent on general health condition and age.
