Hi Paul in Las Vegas, Actually, our Hair Regeneration patients, both men and women, stop minoxidil entirely after treatment. Finasteride is still prescribed to men as a DHT-blocker as the Hair Regeneration treatment does not block DHT-formation. I don't prescribe ketoconazole as an effective treatment for pattern hair loss as it does not block DHT, thicken thinning hair, or stimulate substantial growth from dormant hair follicles. Hi Sullen Morbius, It isn't mentioned because the Hair Regeneration treatment does not cause shock loss as the injection treatment isn't as traumatic to the scalp as a hair transplant. The treatment does induce shed of thinning so thicker hair can grow in, but this is more inline with normal daily hair shedding, so you don't shed a lot at once. Hi Sudeepkumar BS, If you have male pattern hair loss at 22, you are likely highly DHT-sensitive, and will need a DHT-blocker like finasteride to slow hair thinning. It is likely these treatments you mention do not block DHT. The decision for treatment is in your hands. Since it is a non-surgical treatment with little to no recovery time, and in many cases no additional treatment, you don't need an extended stay in the US. Hi johnny bee, There are different classes of ACell's extracellular matrix. I believe "regular ACell" would mean not the best in class. I only use the best in class of ACell's extracellular matrix. There are others using extracellular matrix, but ACell is the pioneer, and the only one used by the US military for advanced wound healing. Hi balu talari. Nutricap is a B vitamin supplement, also known as biotin, to help with hair growth, and Brintop is minoxidil. Minoxidil won't thicken your hair, or stop hair loss, but it appears to delay the hair shedding cycle, and extends the hair growth cycle so you appear to have more hair on your head. You will have to use it daily to sustain these effects, but these effects can also decrease with time even if you use it daily. Minoxidil may irritate the scalp. None of what you are using help with hair thinning or block dihydrotestosterone (DHT), so you will need DHT-blocker to slow hair thinning. I hope this clarifies things for you.

It is unusual that your doctor prescribed many other things besides finasteride if you have pattern hair loss. If you want to thicken thinning hair and stimulate hair growth from inactive hair follicles, look into the Hair Regeneration treatment featured in the video. There are no permanent solutions for hair loss as pattern hair loss is hardwired into your genetics, so it can't be cured, but it can be managed to get as much hair as genetically possible, for as long as possible. I do advise you use finasteride, and you should know that side effects are only experienced in less than 2% of male patients. If you didn't suffer side effects when you did use it, there are really no reasons for you to stop. Hair transplants are not advised for men in their 20s because they are losing hair faster than it can be transplanted. Hi Nithin m, Hair shedding of 250-300 hairs per day is not due to DHT, as DHT causes hair to become thinning. It is normal to shed 50-100 hairs a day, so I advise you see a doctor to diagnose cause of hair shedding. If shedding is due to stress called telogen effluvium, then it does grow back. As for DHT, it really isn't important to test for it since all men have DHT in their system, but not all men are sensitive to DHT where it causes hair thinning and hair loss. Hi Mallik Malyala, Hair transplants are effective when you have smooth bald areas where the hair follicles are already dead, but you must understand the limits of a hair transplant. Hair transplants do not stop progressive hair loss. You have about 100,000 hairs at your peak, and first notice hair loss when you lost about half of that. A hair transplant can safely transplant 1500-3000 hair per session, so it doesn't come close to replacing what was lost. If you can save and thicken your existing hair, in the right patient, the Hair Regeneration treatment can exceed the results of not one, but two hair transplants. Your natural hair density, even with thinning hair, is much higher than any transplant or series of transplants can achieve. Hair grafts can't be placed as close together as natural hair because of the risk of damaging adjacent native hair, also damaging nearby transplanted hair. Transplanted hair cannot be done too closely together because there is not enough blood supply for graft growth and survival. Lastly, a single hair transplant session costs 2 to 3 times a single Hair Regeneration treatment, while Hair Regeneration can stop hair loss, and a transplant cannot. Hi gurpreet singh, Finasteride can slow hair thinning, but it will not stop it completely. It also works on about 60% of men who take it, and you need to take it daily to sustain the effects of slowed hair thinning. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hi gurpreet, PRP is not a permanent solution because you will need to repeat treatment. It can help short-term hair growth, but it can't sustain it unless you repeat the treatment. Look into the Hair Regeneration treatment featured in the video which is a long-term solution of at least 3-5 years after one treatment. It is not PRP alone, it is a PRP combination treatment.
