Oh I thought you were doing it live for your weekly work session to show us what it was like. Lol that's kind of hilarious that it was an accident. Some days do need more coffee than others 🤣

I should do a live to share what we do over in the membership community! I just wasn't prepared for this particular day 🤣

All this paper planning is so perplexing to me… time consuming, prone to error, messy, rewriting many of the same things every month, not easy to adjust… An electronic planner is the only way to go for busy people who don’t want something akin to an arts and crafts project to get organized. Can somebody explain the paper planner mindset in 2024 when there are easier and cheaper options?

I prefer paper planning because enough of my life is consumed with screens. When I physically write things down it makes a connection in my brain and prompts me to follow through, it also allows me space to not think about things constantly. I have tried digital planners in the past, but I don't check them. And because I don't have notifications on my phone I don't think it would be very helpful for me because I would still have to constantly check my digital calendar. If it works for you, that is awesome! I will stick with paper and pen 😊. But, even if I did use a digital planner, I would still take the time each month to brainstorm and set up the month ahead. It isn't just about putting dates on a calendar for me, it is writing out goal action plans, it is homeschool planning, it is making sure that I have enough margin in my days to focus on what is important. And I think regardless of the planning tool you are using, that is a useful part of your month.

@@Townsendhouse1 Got it! I agree some people get more out of handwriting. I stopped with a handwritten plan around 1998 and I see a lot of current videos still on paper and/or selling the paper planners, so I know you’re not alone.
