I really like this idea for the series! If you have a specific focus each month, maybe it could end with a finished piece using the knowledge you've gained? This month you could do a portrait in profile for example! Would be nice to see 😊❤️

I really like your way of keeping a sketchbook, it's so colourful! If you take 'criticism', for your side profiles, I'd suggest maybe lowering the position of the eye a little bit and also not placing it right against the line of the nose (I hope you understand what I mean ._.)

ooh so colourful :) a monthly sketchbook tour is a good idea, shows what you are working on and also might give other people ideas about things they could focus on artistically (like the Loomis books that some people might not know about)

The more I see you having FUN with exploring ways to evolve your style, the more i like what's happening to it. I really like the head you drew that you were raving over pre-the thirteen minute mark, but the page after and that front facing girlish face on the right hand side was just jaw dropping to me! I would love to see some of your favorites from this month turned into full pieces - which is a rocky topic, because people struggle with sketch-to-art piece in terms of loving it just as much as it originally was, but could easily fit into this series I think :O . Or, at the end of a couple sketchbook tours, grab bits and pieces of your favorites and piece them into something you love - like face A, headshape/hairstyle B, body C, etc, etc.

I *LOVE* the fact you are constantly changing how you are doing these videos. What else really shows how quickly and vastly your style, likes and dislikes, even you as a person in general, changes from video to video? However I really like the thought of doing a monthly video because you are really able to tell what exactly you are working on and practicing, and how far you have come, even from the last video. I am so excites for this idea!!!!

I love your sketches, for life drawing there is a free artist resource called croquis cafe that provides models of all shapes sizes...in video and as still images, they used to be here on KZbin but since shane they are on viemo. They do ask for donations but everything is free to access and for practice the one to five minute poses are fantastic. They also have some 360 videos which allow you to choose the angle of the pose. It really is a fabulous resource (I'm disabled so I can't easily get go a life drawing class, but my anatomy has improved since using these models). You can find them by searching croquis cafe, and they are also (though slightly censored) on instagram. Though to anyone interested before searching all wobbly bits are on full view in some poses so just be wary who your opening it in front of. Hope you find this tip useful thank you for so many amazing videos and gorgeous pieces of art x

i think one of the best ways to tacle the series (in terms of style) iss to mix it up. every month you do your sketchbook update but maybe every so often throw in a speed drawing or something of you doing studies or translating what you've leaaned into your style. good way of doing topic videos or extra updates of what you doing perhaps?

I think I should start a sketchbook like this. I've been meaning to, but I often feel like the books are too expensive to just use for sketches that might not turn out very pretty, though I know that's what sketchbooks are for... Well, perhaps I should just go for it

Yes, new sketchbooks are strangely intimidating! They're meant to be for loose, experimental work, yet we feel like it has to look good. I feel like sketching in colour tricks me into thinking it's aesthetically pleasing, regardless of now the sketches turn out.
