Monti Rock! So great, to find you, alive, well, and still, freezing cool. One had to be there, to understand just how important you were, in demonstrating the art of "doing your own thing". And when you did it, it really meant something. And it took a lot of balls. When I've read articles about you, I think they missed the point, when they pigeonhole your influence, to the show business and gay community. There were many straight, white, rebellious teens, who in the 1960's found strength, to be themselves. Through your powerful and trippy example. I think now, that they have the old Merv Griffin shows back in regular rotation, on certain networks, there will be many more young people, who discover the great Monti Rock III. By watching the cheap bullshit you would often have to endure, from some of the older guests, they will might gain an appreciation, for what the world was like.
