Primeau was very good last year.

I think the probability is that Primeau stays in place for the entire season. A good season with 30 to 35 games would be excellent for his career. Primeau is good for the salary cap. If Montembault and Primeau do a good job, don't fix what isn't broken.

NO CHANCE, Primeau and Monty battle for the crease this season.

Fowler is the future. I never thought Primeau would even make it to the NHL and he surprised me when he made it there but showed he belonged. but can not really see Primeau anywhere else but in Montreal this full year

I could see Montembeault traded before Primeau. Primeau/Devon Levi have the same trajectory. That said neither Habs goalie will be dealt. Its all about Fowler/Primeau in 2-3 years. Monty will be left unsigned or traded

Penguins and Habs should make a huge trade. Pens should trade Tristan Jarry, Marcus Pettersson, and Ryan Graves for Primeau, Mike Matheson, Arbers Xhekaj, and either Brendan Gallagher or Josh Anderson. GET TO WORK DUBAS!
@ktowniecity7269
@ktowniecity7269 2 күн бұрын
what do the canadiens gain with that?!? Graves has the worst contract by a lot. Jarry is a dime a dozen goalie. Pettersson is the only useful player from the Pens just to get rid of Gallagher or Anderson...That makes little sense. Habs arent in cap trouble to take longer deals with Graves. Anderson, Gallagher have 2 years left.

Makes no sense, to trade Primeau after all the years of developing him. Just look what happened.

Should just let primeau run out his contract. Monty could fall off in the next couple years as well, no point in rushing fowler and forcing themselves into a bad decision
