Engstrom really impressed me could be a good trade chip eventually there's just no room on the blue line but I could definitely see Thorpe and Florian find spots in the bottom six in the next year or two

Your dillusional if you think he's going to replace Matheson Hutson or xhekaj we have what Engstrom provides in other places all our D minus Savard are very mobile the sheriff on the other hand provides what nobody else we have does. Matheson put up 64 points last year he's not being moved he's one of two veteran D. And I'm sorry but Hutson again brings things we don't really have elsewhere we have several mobile puck moving D all solid it's just a numbers game Engstrom will just struggle to crack the NHL roster but he's very good which is why he likely gets moved eventually I don't mean anytime soon he's not close to losing his waiver exemption so they canove him up and down as needed mean time

He's pumped to be a Montreal Canadien. He was a standout at prospect camp after the draft, and he was a standout during the rookie tournament. I was at game two, he was impressive, was more than keeping pace during the games.

Tyler Thorpe is big, fast and has soft hands. He is a much better Anderson since Anderson never could lift pucks over Goalies. Thorpe has some interesting comparables, should be good to see him develop in a few years.

I really hope Gally gets a playoff shot before he's done in Montreal. Unfortunately that window is closing quickly and as the cap goes up, he may be a filler for a couple of years for a team that needs to get to the floor
