3 days felt just about the right length of time to explore Montreal…. Which was your favourite day of the 3?

Pro tip: Always check out the main Tourist Info office (if any) and take the most extensive/comprehensive bus tour from the get go! This will save you loads of time, as sites may be closed/have limited access etc. Getting your bearings and some of the history will also be beneficial. Also allows you to zero in on those sites you want to explore in depth.

Pro tip: if an Info Tourist location exists, check it out, always take the longest bus tour available to get your bearings and the history, in any city. It saves you loads of time and allows you to focus your energies on whatever strikes your fancy later.

I have enjoyed some good hop on hop off bus tours around the World, though I do like to just walk a lot - you never know what you’ll find that doesn’t always make the guide books
