I love the cozy chatty vibes and getting to know you! Throne of Glass is one of my all time favorite series! 🤍 thank you for being open about mental health, such an important discussion! I also loved the message you had to share on prioritizing connection over everything else in content creation! this lowkey vibe is so valuable for connecting with you! whatever brings joy, those in our cozy little knit community that align with this style will be here no matter what you are putting out 🤎

What you’re doing with your channel has been super inspiring for me, I’m pretty new to KZbin and sharing what I really love about knitting and art is really why I did it because I am looking for people who genuinely connect with my work. Here’s maybe a cute idea - doing a cozy craft and chat with another maker where you ask each other questions and get to know each other like a chill podcast interview and people can watch and craft along and listen to the conversation 💕

This was wonderful! I'm still working on my Calliope sweater as I listen. I love hearing about books, and I also enjoyed when you recommended your favorite skincare and haircare products one time. What are your favorite teas and coffees? Where are your favorite places to thrift, and what is your strategy for thrifting? What are your favorite yarns, and where do you get them? How do you strategically purchase fabrics? Sales? When you have a project? How do you bust or organize your stashes? I will be experimenting with new knit garments and rudimentary printmaking. It's nice to have a voice with me when I craft- either KZbin or audiobook or podcast. I've been enjoying your videos and hope you continue!

I think one of the first videos I came across was your video about making friends in a new city, in your 30s. It's so wonderful to find out how you have gotten on with that and it surely sounds like Montreal is a good fit for you for the loveliness of crafty/arty people, and those who you just slot in with. :) Re thoughts on future content: You are one of the folks that I watch all that you do. So whilst I devour knitting and sewing content (especially alterations or things you do to make your piece "yours"), sprinkling these check-ins, what you're excited about (books - this is new to me but I've enjoyed watching other things about books. Favourites, currently reading etc). As someone who is quite poorly and can't manage full-on conversations that much lately, this craft and chat makes for lovely company whilst I'm knitting. Even moreso because I am on the cuff of a sock, which is my least favourite bit!

If you can run 10k already you should be fine running a half marathon in september. As you said it's a mental thing. I ran 7 marathons (very slowly, I'm not a gazelle in any way ) and the first one was the hardest mostly because it was unknown. I've started running again and I hope I can get back to running half-marathons. Half-marathons are great! It's a challenge but it doesn't take over your life like a marathon does. I hope you have a great time on your first race!❤❤❤

Picking up and knitting a neckline. It looks like a summer tank but is really a merino sock weight under shirt. Fourth Wing was great, it had Tamora Pierce vibes for me.

I really enjoyed this - I liked the casual nature of it and the whole vibe. I played it in the background while at work and it felt like I had a friend talking about their weekend. I'm a big historical romance person - love me some Regency Romances! For fantasy though, Trudi Canavan does a good set of 3 called The Black Magician series. It's older (2000?ish) but I enjoyed it.

I read a lot of Pride and Prejudice variations. Got really hooked on the 1995 BBC version when I was really sick in the hospital last winter. I read them now but am starting to move onto something else. I do read quite a few books on sewing. Other nonfiction is interesting but my reading goes around in circles.

I love reading romance and fantasy romance books. I also used to feel like I "should be" reading other types of books, but now I read whatever I fancy and don't worry about what others think. I'm glad to hear you liked Fourth Wing as I have been wanting to read it. I like your craft and chat videos and I hope you continue to make them. I enjoy hearing what you are reading/watching and general life stuff along with your crafting.

I was crazy into urban fantasy romance novels and have an embarassingly huge collection. One of my favorite series is the Kate Daniels books by Ilona Andrews. They also have other awesome series and short stories. Silver Shark was incredible and the first of my digital "books". Love them sooo much, maybe you might want to give some strange adventuring a try! (husband & wife writing team) Hope you had/will have a good marathon and happy making 👍🏻

I really liked Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson (teen fantasy/romance). They’re basically the same age and it’s a stand alone (with a follow up novella). I’m going to check out Fourth Wing!

Try T. Kingfishers fantasy romance series starting with "Paladin's Grace" the two main characters are late 30's early 40's. Semi slow romance, very special humor. I adore them.

Really enjoyed crocheting with you whilst you gave an awesome cozy update, it’s so great to craft with you and I’m excited to see this series continue it was such a chill watch and a lovely vibe. I’d love to know if you ever have trouble with decision fatigue/overwhelm with your projects? I always am shocked when I see creators have a list of things they want to do and can somehow work methodically through them without getting sidetracked or too snowed under and unable to start anything. Wondering if you feel that way at all and if you’ve found any way to push through it?

One thing that I always wonder, as a sewist and knitter and crocheter myself, is how do people deal with fabric/yarn remnants. I hate the idea of wasting fabric or yarn, but sometimes I struggle to find ideas of what to do with them apart from stuff like patchwork. So I'd love to have your take on that subject if that's something that interest you !

What was your most challenging make (sewing and knitting)? And how did you overcome it? Also how to get over a fear of making?? I bought 3m of wool fabric to make a coat MONTHS ago and I am too scared to start... For crafting in these videos: how about trying air dry clay! I haven't tried it yet, but it looks fun to do and you can do it at home. Potenially painting the finished makes? Anyway, liked the video. Gotta check out your book recommendations ;)
