When Ted from Montreux contacted me to have a look at his FKM straps, I told him I was not interested.
Looking at his website they just looked like overpriced generic straps.

These look great. And the price isn't that high. The issue seems to be that the ali express and amazon straps are still great for half the price or even less. And for people swapping straps we buy a lot. And $72 adds up when buying multiples. But would love to own one one day if i could find just one watch where i wanted just a perfect strap.

Hi, Pete. Thanks for your review. There is no mention on the website or in this video of the strap dimensions. They are 125mm/75mm and only come in 20mm widths at the moment.

Interesting, I might have to check them out. Reminds me of my Dan Henry 1975 tropic strap. It’s thinner but much more sublime then any other rubber strap in my collection.

I purchased a couple of these straps and agree with Pete that they aren’t great for bigger & heavier watches. If they were a tad thicker, they would be amazing because the FKM they use is softer and more comfortable than the generic stuff out there. They also only sell them in 20mm. Interested to see if they’ll offer a 22mm.

Awesome review- spot on! I have the original red strap and really pops on the wrist. Most comfortable rubber strap I have worn. I live in Miami so I might have to get that blue soon.

Thanks Peter.i have just recieved 4 of theses straps from montreux and agree with your observations. They are brilliant! Comfortable to wear and to the touch and also have really striking colours particularly the Miami/Tiffany Blue and the dark red.

I like the thicker one, looks-wise and durability Ive had alot of straps there are alot of great thick ones, the thin ones look flimsy.
