Yes I remember buying this Montrose album at 16 in 1975 and rocking out to the great Sammy Hagar vocals & Ronnie Montrose on guitar. I was cranking it up in my room on my Pioneer SX-636 Receiver/Amp, Garrard turntable & my 4 Advent Loudspeakers. Between that album & my Aerosmith vinyls our retired next door neighbors really started to hate my a--. Now I'm retired, and my neighbor kid is cranking his tunes on ME. LOL - turnabout really IS fair play...

I still have mine on vinyl from the 70’s! Montrose still rocks my world today! Saw them live at Winterland several times in high school. This sounds great. What a band of excellent musicians; Ronnie’s solo smokes.

I haven't seen this version before. Obviously overdubbed guitar solo. But much more powerful than the other version of this same video.

Bill Church had a good run with Ronnie. Funny how they probably all met each other back in the day. Maybe a classified in the Recycler, maybe a promotions guy at one of the Sunset Strip clubs. The first album was a landmark work of studio mastery.

Thank you Idiot culture talkin about xxx personalities in the same breath as this like one is supposed to connect dots like this...why do these types of sentiments even get air time? It ruins the artistry. Maybe im goin home and thinkin of my wife and have a completely different tune in mind altogether. Another life. Married people. Another class.

I’m with ya John. I don’t “hate” Sammy, just never flipped any switches with me. I guess after seeing Boston in 78 and Bon Scott with AC/DC, and the Allman Brothers-I could go on all day-there’s just a helluva lot better singers out there.

It went all down hill for Hagar after this album. He never even came close to topping this album. He was the right guy for this record though
