It's off topic but the blinking light displays in marquees like in the animation here was originally done with a wooden disk with pins. When the disk rotates, it turns lights on and off as the pins hit wires. It's the technology used in those old Times Square scrolling news displays.

I remember this song from watching "Monty Python's Flying Circus" on channel 11 (Chicago WTTW). I loved Monty Python's flying circus which came on Sunday nights at 10:30 p.m, if I'm not mistaken.
