"To blame a horse for anything is like blaming the night for being dark." @13:00 I love this. Thank you.

I went to see him years ago for a join up demo. Seeing him bond with the beautiful animal brought tears to my eyes. I will never forget it.

Monty Roberts, a living legend! He is my great role model since I was about 9 years old. He is the best! I have never read books except his (which were very fat, but very interesting!!!) and horse & dog books! I love this man!!! 🐴💕

wonderful...a joy to watch. what a beautiful understanding of the horse. That it took so many centuries for the nature of horses to be recognised and acknowledged as valid to training seems incredible... that Monty Roberts' and his enlightened understanding and skill should have been treated so badly is unbelievable. He is a blessing indeed to the horse world and these magnificent creatures. thank you for posting this. : )

Monty you are such a big part of my life and such a big role model to me. I have read all your books and it still seizes to amaze me. I can't believe what you have done: you have learned the language of the horse. The most valuable language(/ communication system) in the world. You are the luckiest man ever and it's amazing how you learned how to get a horse to WANT to do what you want instead of FORCING it to do what you want, like your dad (for I recall). You are also the most generous person in the world to show and tell us how it is done. As a boy, you got to watch mustangs and train them with the join-up technique, and I would trade almost ANYTHING to have the life that you had. You had (/ have) my dream life and in your books I felt like I was with you on every journey that you decided to share with us, and it was delightful. I love how you treat horses with kindness and respect and have so much patience for these animals. It is so hard to earn that and you got the highest reward that anyone could ever offer: you know how to get horses to want to trust you. So thank you so so so so so so much for making your books and videos and sharing them with us. You are my hero Monty Roberts

Monty Roberts is a remarkable guy - I'm not in ANY way "horsey" (actually, I'm crazy allergic to them) BUT I think they are magnificent (and a bit crazy) and his ability to read them is astonishing. Fascinating video, thanks.
