What an absolute treat. I was worried because a lot of the combat and stats/character building is so crunchy, but I was happy to hear she had some DnD background so it wasn't quite as overwhelming. More than anything, though, I'm delighted to see her embrace thinking creatively and trying things out. Speak to Animals to ally yourself with the spiders and use an invisible mage hand to release the lever to unlock the gate? Amazing. Casting Silence to prevent Gut from calling for backup so you can beat her senseless? Grand. Turning into a cat and meowing to lure Minthara over a bridge, then cutting the bridge out from under her? Legitimately brilliant. I'm also so happy to hear her mentally work through her opinions of characters. Loved her distrust of Raphael. I'm an "examine goblin", so when I saw that Auntie Ethel's infocard listed her as a Fey, I was all kinds of wary around her. This is just such a fun and creative game and I'm beaming to see how much the Noobus embraced and enjoyed it. Great video, and good Lord I can only imagine how long it took to edit. We appreciate how much time you put into this, cuz this might be my favorite video you two have put out. Speaking of you two, absolutely huge congratulations. ya, the DnD background had to have helped, at least with understanding the spells cause that can be one of the hardest things to manage. I can do it with 1 character in DnD but with 4 even I forget stuff all the time and that's not counting all the camp character with buffs and stuff you can do with hirelings (tip, always make a halfling transmuter hireling at camp and let them make all your potions, you can pretty much get 2 potions every time, and also make a transmuter stone to give away.)

That was fantastic; shame there aren't seven more episodes of this. Particularly well done on the montages mate, and your wife is a lovely character in her own right.

This was brilliant. Love the editing and the music. If you can convince her to do a part 2, I feel she really enjoy it even more.

Being able to kill the harpies first try @lvl like 3 is crazy.. Then like 5 hours later not being able to kill Prietest gut first round is insane 😂

This video is such a treat, thank you for continuing the Noobus Humanus saga!

I love how creative many of her solutions were. I'm always somewhat willing to jump into combat, even with high charisma characters, so I didn't know about many of the options she found.

Ohh... I loved your wife's description of all characters she's met at around 1:07:00 mark. Bang on. 😆

ive been looking forward to this one for a while now, and it didnt disappoint. Im glad she really got into it and was enjoying the roleplay aspect that makes this game stand head and shoulders above many in its genre. this is one of those games where i know she was having fun while playing, and you were having fun watching her play it. The beauty of this game is you could rerecord this on any given day and get a completly different path and outcome. i also have to say i loved the music choices throughout the video. As a lover of JRPG's hearing many a familiar battle themes or background songs play really made me happy. as well as the non Video Game OST choices throughout that really added to the fast forwarded combat sections. if there is ever a day where you and the noobus revist past played games, i believe this would be at the top of my request list, right above hades. i also hope this game breaks the streak of her not playing in her down time as i know personally its a game i love playing with my partner. excellent work as always Mr. and Mrs. Zander. Cant wait for the next one. #LongLiveSnowBlack

I never played a game that genuinely let me ROLE PLAY like BG3. I loved Skyrim when I was younger but never has an RPG encouraged my shenanigans like this one.

This is a very interesting video to come back to after watching Razbuten's recent upload! They provide really nice contrast as the two ladies had very different experience and impressions of the game. Love this video, will definitely see if your wife has tried any of the other games I know/like)

49:38 The first impression descriptions are so funny. And having to psych yourself up to talk to Bae'zel is a real struggle. 🤣🤣

Baldur's Gate 3 is truly amazing on the many ways it lets you roleplay your way through it. For example, my first playthrough I decided I wanted to be an half-orc barbarian. Therefore, I was the hammer and all the world was composed of nails. Seeing this, and how far she got with so little combat is such an antithesis of my first experience with this game... 😂

oh my god, i loved her description of the entire party. so accurate 🤣

This is the first video I've seen from this channel but I'm really excited to see more of it! I love watching the wife's approach to the game and it always makes me smile when I see people use creative solutions in such an open world game like BG3. Also the editing is fire! I love the music selection, the montages are smooth with the right amount of full footage added in, and summarized portions still feel like I'm getting all the info I need about what happened in the game and how you both reacted to it. Masterful!
