Monument Valley and Forrest Gump Point

Monument Valley has been one of those bucket list locations. It’s iconic vistas that are a staple of John Ford Westerns to a backdrop for many other cult classics such as National Lampoon’s Vacation and Forrest Gump… this is a must see natural attraction if you’re touring the United States. This is on the Navajo Nation and is considered a Navajo National Park site. While your there you’ll want to take the drive to Forrest Gump Point and a little further down the road to Mexican Hat. It would probably be better to visit in Spring or Fall due to the desert landscape being very hot during the summer.

Had to be dozens. It was near impossible to get a shot with out people and cars. I cleared them out in my photos with some Photoshop magic
