Jerry Monza brought out his 1972 Split Bumper Camaro to Topeka, Kansas to enter in the show and to get the bugs out of his new setup of the twin turbos from a nitrous set up that he always had in the past.
As you can see from the black primer paint on the car it has gone through a whole rebuild from the wreck that he had on the show. At least the engine looks exactly the same as before but the body needs some work yet to look as perfect as it did before.

Thanks Toby I appreciate it! I've actually had my KZbin channel since 2006, but I only took videos of local racers and friends of mine who were racing so they could see what they were missing. So I did it as a small time guy for a long time, it wasn't till about 4 years ago that I really started trying to expand out a bit. Yeah I was a little shocked when I saw it in the black primer, it hit me at that moment that it confirmed he was the one that crashed. And I overheard some of the HPP guys talking about how they rebuilt it. Crazy, can't wait to see it on the show. TomEighty

I knew it was monza that crashes!!!! If you pay attention at the beginning of every show this season when they say "this seasin on street outlaws" you can see a glimse of a dark colored car with green interior light crash. Only could have been 3. Big chief, daddy dave, or monza.... Guess it was monza. Thats to bad he had just got it the way he wanted it. But looks like hes gettin back on track. No pun intended. Just glad hes ok.

Monza’s son “young blood” is always complaining about the conditions of the streets, the tracks, etc. He’s always worried about wrecking the car. But maybe this will finally teach him that it’s not a matter of IF you will crash, it’s a matter of WHEN.

Rumor has it that he crashed it during filming of the Street Outlaws show this season. So when I saw it in primer at this race, it pretty much confirmed the rumor. If you watch the intros of the Street Outlaws for this season they give a teaser that some car rolls it this season and it kind of looks like Monza's car but they show just enough to tease you. Sad thing to see and unreal that he is back out there racing hard as ever. Tough guy. Thanks for watching! TomEighty

When I was filming Monza's car in the pits I heard someone ask him about that Camaro and he said it is totaled out. Said someone ran a red light with it and crashed.
