Samosa is one of the underrated Street Foods in the World - which we would like to introduce to you today in this “Street Food in Berlin” Episode with Street Food Iranian Style.
This Samosas are handmade filled with boiled Potatoes, Carrots and Peas as well as our own Spice Mix according to an Original Iranian Recipe and are then Fried until Crispy and Golden Brown.

[2] All Sauces are Homemade
The Herb Dressing and the Hot Sauce are Homemade and do not overwhelm the Samosa or Dal but rather Support the Taste.
[3] Salad are daily fresh washed & cutted at Home
Like everything else, the salad is washed fresh at home every day and cut by hand.
[4] Dal is a type of Lentil Stew
Dal is a classic from Indian cuisine. Dal originally refers to dried and split legumes such as lentils, beans or peas. In the south of Iran, this dish has been established since ancient times, especially in the port city of Bushehr.
[5] Samosa Dough
The Samosa Dough consists of Flour, Water, Salt and Sunflower oil. The Dumplings called Samosas in India are spread from the Middle East through Central Asia to Africa and Southeast Asia. The word probably comes from Persia, where the Dumplings are called “Sanbosag”.
[6] Potatoes, Paprika, Peas and their own Iranian Spice Blend
This is an original Iranian Recipe. Of course there are many different ways to fill the Samosas and countless Recipes from India, Pakistan, Africa and other Countries.

As an Indian I would say samosa is neither indian nor iranian. Its a Uzbek dish. Look at their other varieties of similar food. Middle eastern version was filled with meat named as Samsa. Gradually it might have travelled to iran and then to india via some persian travellers. And indians filled potato instead of meat to make it cheaper. But one thing we can say as Indian is samosa git the popularity because of Indians living across the world. They have promoted the Indian version of samosa very well that lot of the westerners now feel samosa is Indian 😊🙏🏻

uzbek sambosa is baked, i don't know the fried version origins from India or where! Indians used potato filling for samosa instead of meat because there are lots of vegetarians in India because of Hinduism, Jainism Buddhism and Sikhism.

I wish you greater success! Yes this is the Iranian version of Samosa & lentil curry. In the Far East each country has its own Samosas & lentil curry (Dhal). My Kenyan & Somali friends too have their own version of Samosas & it’s all yummy! In Toronto & Quebec you can tell where the Samosas are from (or rather who made them/their nationalities) by their shapes and the dough.

Nice, samosa is my favorite snack, the potato mixture i see is bit different than they make in India. We prefer to smash potato with the mixture and blend of spices. I also loved the concept of dal rice with somosas and salad. Keep it up and also watch the indian version of making somosas, as the couple said they always strive to create new dishes, i would prefer to try this one!😊

Ayrıca çoğu şef, eldiven varken eldivensiz çalışmaya göre daha az ellerini yıkıyor veya eldiven değiştiriyor. Bu istatistiksel olarak incelenmiştir.
