Moog Labyrinth meets Moog Spectravox - great new synth modules!

Pure RDJ vibes - especially the deliciously creepy/cool "vocals"! My GAS was certainly stoked by the Labyrinth in particular, though I *think* I'm more likely to angle towards the Tracker+ or possible Play+ ... the Polyend flow works for me, and I just never got on so well with the Mother32/DFAM combo I had before. But you make it all sound wonderful, keep up the good work boss.

Thanks Joel, it’s always a pleasure to hear your thoughts. Yeah, as producers of finite means we choose a path and we have to stick to it - I was flirting with the idea of getting a Pulsar or Syntrx but when I saw that Moog were creating a west-coast style generative module, I knew it would work well with the five (!) other Moogs I have. And it does, even if having a bunch of boxes with individual power and audio is a bit of a nuisance. The Labyrinth is great at generating a few bars of twinkly synth which I can play along to - very inspiring for a producer. Of the two, the Spectravox is more of an fx module, but the Labyrinth can sit at the heart of my DAW-less workflow, and I have lots of ideas to combine it: with my Subharmonicons, Eventide’s Misha (controls keys and scales) and multiple clocks from various modules (the 2 Labyrinth clocks can be independently controlled via cv). The Spectravox does allow me to bring in more ‘human’ timings and I can whistle at a certain frequency and it will send cv to start or stop a sequencer, while a different frequency will start a different sequencer!
