Like the way it shows your remaining battery level in the top right corner. Most don’t. “Floating Fibreglass”, what a sound !

Absolute no brainer. This sounds incredible. I went mad and bought all the presets. My only criticism is the looper. It’s hard with a touch screen to disengage the looper and although it has a click it always seems to just be out. Needs to have set bar lengths so the loop point disengages automatically

I’ve had this app for years but haven’t played it in a while. Dove back into it tonight and forgot how good it sounds. Gotta be one of, if not the most, analog sounding iOS apps out there.

Yes they are! I just bought this Model D + Filtatron for about 10$ all in all. I can't complain :D It's so dope that it's an AUv3. Don't have my iPad with me unfortunately, but I'm looking forward to 'plug' it directly into Beatmaker 3 and transform whatever i play into editable midi notes. That is if it works like (the amazing) Zeeon synth, but i have the impression that all AU's are capable of that treatment.

Thanks for posting this video - great demo! The Moog MiniMoog Model D is a fairly new purchase for me ... man, I didn't even know what the FX menu was, thanks for the info here! I downloaded a couple of the expansion packs today, as well. Soooo many GREAT sounds! (BTW, just curious, do you have any suggestions as to patch and parameter settings to get that classic sound on Steve Winwood's Valerie song? Yeah, I'm a big Winwood fan.)

On my iPad and iPad Pro, the top row of buttons is incomplete. The Effects button is missing, so the third button with the “down arrow” is missing. Any idea what’s up? Thanks!

Also, the second row of buttons…shows only the 4 effects buttons, not the large group of preset banks.

Yes, they changed the UI not long ago, all the effects are now visible all the time, just tap an effect to open its further controls and tap at the bottom of the effect to close it back up. And the preset browser is now accessed just by tapping the preset name at the top left of the UI, this will open the new preset browser.

@@TheSoundTestRoom Thank you, that's very helpful! That explains why I don't have the "Effects" button in the top row, but I still have the issue with one missing button from the top row. The button with the "down arrow" where the "Init" is supposed to be. . . I don't have that button, so I don't have an "init" button anywhere that I can see.

I do not like the presets picker layout. Takes too long to find and pick a sound. And when will Moog learn that we just might have some FAVORITES we'd like to mark and have auto collect into a Favorites list so we can find our sounds faster? Of course the sounds are absolutely fantastic. Looking forward to your review of the expansion packs, hopefully in short order because Moog's descriptions of the various packs are absolutely useless.

A very fine demo as usual! I do wish though, that the resolution was a bit higher, so it would be easier to read the labels and see the nifty details in the beautiful synth interface. Also it gets outa focus at about 05:00 to 05:35, probably auto-focuses on your hand. It's not a big problem though. Thanks for the upload :)

I bought this as soon as I saw it was out and was bitterly disappointed! It's just got a black interface with some floating knobs in and sounds bloody awful. I tried deleting and downloading and it was still rubbish. Then I remembered I'm on Apple's ios Beta testing programme :( Which is also why I can't use my audio interface in Auria or most other places atm. Don't do it folks, I'm off it and never to return as soon as they finish testing this release. Looks and sounds really good though so looking forward to it when my ios can use it properly. I'm also looking at my new Behringer ModelD (brilliant though it is) somewhat doubtfully now... Moog timed that one well!

Yes, you can Sequence it internally with any of the iPad Sequencer App or you can set it up to be played by Hardware Sequences

Chris Strobel I owned one of the first white faced ARP Odyssey’s. The serial number was in the 400s range. It was my first synth, when they hit the market @ 1971. Loved it! So I purchased the Korg Odyssey for my iPad. And yes, the original was duo phonic. Back in those early days of synths there were basically two players. ARP and Moog. Seemed keyboard players were either in the ARP camp or Moog camp. I was definitely an ARP guy. Owned several ARPs back in the day. But, this Moog Mini sounds fabulous!

This destroys Arturia's imini by a country mile. Most of the presets on the imini are unusable, its nothing like their Mini V. The presets on Arturia's imini are from the original release. Get this instead.

Well to be fair even Bob Moog said there are three ways to pronounce his name, many British speaking will say it the way I said it, I have also in many of my other Moog demos used the other version, although you could also reflect on the fact that even Moog like this way of phonetic use, i.e Mooger Fooger, I mean to say that is not pronounced Mogger Fogger is it 😎

You don't have to be sarcastic, lots of genuine high quality sound engine apps are allowed to run on 32 bits, like ppg infinite and more.
