Nice to hear these sounds as 'dry' - with it being a demonstration.

2:34 nice. Same Old Madness by Ministry (which just so happens to be my favorite band of all time). The bassline was evidently played on a Moog Source - besides seeing one in the video, the band's keyboardist from that period has stated such in interviews.

Which is the sequenzer used here? Great performance... finally a demo video of a Moog Sub 25 that is melodic hearing music... there are a few of them on KZbin.... these sounds bring me back to Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb late 80's...sound.. Thumbs up!

Tks for the presets Matia! I have one question tho, you have an amazing S&H preset at 4:15 of the video, and the bought the pack mainly because of this sound. I found the sound on the pack (name is 12DB SnH), altho it's sounding completely different form the demo. I was wondering if maybe you sent CV modulation to the moog using the Filter cv input (+5/-5) in order to achieve that sound. I was trying this and was getting a bit closer, but still very far :( (tks in advance for taking the time to answer)

No external modulation was used or anything other than what’s available on the synth itself. My guess is there is a calibration difference on the ss25. I would try there. Also try manually opening up the filter a bit. Also make sure your ss25 is reading the stored mod wheel position and not in the mode where it’s set to the “live” mod wheel position.

Great demo! Is it possible to create 808/sub lines for hip hop with sub25?

Man these sounds are insanely good, I’ve been watching videos on the Sub25 and 37 for weeks now. You have the best sounds I’ve heard. I’m looking to get my first moog. Sub25, 37, little phatty, mother32 and even the Boog d are in my head. Any advice on which one you recommend? Thank you!

Subsequent 25. Great first moog.

How would you compare the low end on this synth to a sub 37?
@INHALTVIDEO3 жыл бұрын
Bigger and punchier than the original sub37

Sounds good - but would you rather have this or the Grandmother?

The subsequent 25 over the grandmother any day

There are so many ways to gain stage the Subsequent 25 compared to the Grandmother. The Grandmother sounds great, but the 25 can sound sweet or absolutely filthy. And the FET gives it a tube-like saturation when cranking it up.

Oh, would love these for my Sub 37. Any chance you'll do the same pack for the 37? 😊

Do you think the Pro 3 could come close to these moog-y sounds?
@INHALTVIDEO3 жыл бұрын
I love the Pro3 and it’s a bit different ... this reminds me a bit more of my source if it was heavier on the bottom
@pat2rome3 жыл бұрын
They also have a fantastic Pro 3 video, give that a listen! I think the sound is definitely different but still phenomenal.
@ubiquitousreverser3 жыл бұрын
Yes! That is what I love about analogue so much! It’s like the acoustic in synthesizer, they all have their own beautiful voice, but so do electric guitars with the pick-ups. You could probably get there on the Pro 3 but the Moog Sub, is it’s own and well bass is it’s thing on a Moog Level.

@@INHALTVIDEO I feel as though the Subsequent 25/37 are spiritual successors to the Source. I've made the same comparison.
