R9 was the best striker I have seen, and Romario was the best finisher. But certainly in the last 10 years Suarez has been the best striker in the world over all, and is maybe a better all round player than Romario was (not by much though) and a better playmaker than R9 was (for Liverpool Suarez was for sure striker but a playmaker too). Im a Liverpool fan, and I saw the 80's teams with strikers like Rush and Aldo even Kenny, and they were great strikers, Owen and Fowler were great strikers, Torres at peak was probably the best I had seen in Liverpool red at that point, but Suarez beat them all in my opinion(if we are talking specifically about ability and talent). Suarez for Barca became the best Striker in the world,but when he played at Liverpool he was able to demonstrate just how good he was as an all round player . Liverpool have had some truly great players play for them, none greater than Gerrard. However if we are talking pure ability? Suarez is the most gifted player to ever put on the red shirt (previous candidates for the title? Barnes, Dalglish). He wont ever be called the greatest Liverpool player or prem player But for me he was the most talented player to ever play for Liverpool, and one of the top 3 prem players of all time (his time in the Prem was short so he wont get the acclaim his ability deserves)
