Make sure you keep your initial deposit to get the bonus for 90 days: Eligible users need to maintain a minimum eligible account value within 90 days after the deposit/transfer-in. The total asset value (cash, stocks and other assets included) is allowed to drop by 30% from the stated amount.

Moo provides a 0.09% FX fee, which is muchhh lower compared to WS 1.5% charge. I believe that regardless of the exchange rate, Moo should be still cheaper for conversion? Especially when trading with larger amounts of money.

@@ShirleyTheBarbie. it depends on the rate. It can be that 1.37 rate with 1.5% fee is better than 1.33 rate with 0.09% fee

Great video, I am thinking of switching from by regular bank brokerage over to an app like Moomoo. Do you know when transferring does it only transfer cash or will it transfer all my currents shares that I'm holding as well?

You can transfer Cash account, Margin, TFSA, and RRSP for now. I actually have a video coming out soon about this!

Hi, I open an account with moo moo Canada around end of 2023. A few days later, someone called me said she is my account mgr from moomoo and can help me if I have any problem ? And they keep on calling me from time to time and I refuse to answer them. I wonder does anyone have this from moomoo?

Same, moomoo canada is a scam, tons of scammer who gets your info and canada does not offer the 5.1% APY, better going with wealthsimple or banque national

Start using it few month ago, I would say overall experience with Moo is more advanced compared to WS, wider range of trading option and monitoring features. Trading experience is positive. Just my experience tho~

They charge higher fees and have limited services compared to other platforms. It does not even offer option. At least Moo has launched with low exchange fees and free market data, kinda attractive if i have to choose between these two.
