Hi Ziet, certain ETF is not availabele for fractional share. As a beginner should I use Interactive Brokers. My plan is to use IB for only ETF and Moomoo for individual stock. How do you determine which stock/ETF should buy on Moomoo or IB, thanks

They should be available now! But if you're looking for EU market coverage (for those irish ETFs) then yes IBKR can help you get them! As for which broker I use, honestly the line between them are pretty blurred, the only cons is the slightly higher fees on Moomoo MY due to the clearing fees charged by the Malaysian government, other than that, they are pretty comparable for the most part!

Hi! To answer your question clearly would take me about 2000 words or more and that wont even complete the job for you🤣 In short, intrinsic value is calculated based on 2 parts A- Quantitative, look at the financials like free cash flow, PE growth, EPS growth, etc to determine their enterprise value based on their future cash flow (read discounted cash flow) B- Qualitative: read into macroeconomics, management vision, business model, competition, technology, innovation etc As you can see, it’s no 1 straight forward answer, its a lot of study and research - but dont give up, start chipping them off bit by bit and you will slowly find the answers (with the ‘s’) because im sure you will discover more as you go!

There are many methods but most popular 1 is discounted cash flow model, which u can easily find online but the better your understanding of the industry the more accurate ur calculation

Hmmmm hard to say o, i’ve researched alot but didnt really go into all of them, sometimes i suppose its a mix of research and “gut feeling” based on the risk/reward exposure im looking for that helped me with pulling the trigger (note: i rarely enter n exit positions)

Yes fractional shares is available for VOO and IVV, but not for HLAL and SPUS at the moment. And yes also, they are the cheapest in Malaysia (in terms of SC-licensed broker)

Great question! I dont have such video because nominee and direct cds accounts are all considered brokerage accounts, just that a few differences like voting rights, dividends entitlement (nominee is few days slower to receive) and a few more minute differences. Overall not a huge difference for a passive investor like myself!

Yup! you can withdraw funds from Moomoo SG to your Wise account. When you initiate a withdrawal on Moomoo, select the bank account option and input your Wise account details (Wise supports SGD)

@@ZietInvests thanks, btw I also checked with moomoo sg team, and they told me that Hello, withdrawing funds via Wise is not supported at the moment. We currently only support withdrawals to DDA-bound bank cards and manually added bank accounts with the same name. I am wondering why they supported deposit via wise but not for withdrawal. For your method above, may i confirm is the step as below? 1. Go to moomoo sg, select withdrawal 2. Add your bank account 3. Bank country/ region. Select Singapore 4. Bank name. Select other bank name. Key in my bank name stated under wise sgd - Wise Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Formerly TransferWise) 5. Switft code. Key in according to my wise sgd switft code 5. Bank account number. Key in according to my wise sgd account number 6 beneficiaries address. Is this key in the wise address according to my wise sgd instead of my home address? 7. Proof of bank account . For this is it to screenshot my wise screen under your sgd account details , while selecting tab of “Global- Swift”? Hi Ziet, now that moomoo has fractional shares, is the fee cheaper to buy VOO in moomoo than IBKR now? I am currently investing RM1000 monthly into VOO with IBKR, and the fees to convert MYR to USD is about RM8, and when I buy VOO i will be charged another $0.35, which totaled up to about RM10 or 1% of my RM1000. But with moomoo, if it’s only $0.99 per trade, I would imagine that it would be a lot cheaper to invest with Moomoo right?

I bought Apple shares few months back and now sold it already, but at the assets section, my USD cash still shows up "repay" button although a week has passed, I first thought it has something to do with the trade settlement. Hello ck, you can go to the Accounts tab, click into the gray box in the middle with the “Today’s P&L”, there you can see MYR and USD cash 😁

can be different because it depends on market situations, however it did mentioned that with RM10K u can get some shares from Hot US stocks but also have to refer to t&c and it can be fluctuate

yes u can, 10k deposit u can get a fractional shares from those stocks, but u need to read the t&c. u might need to have the depo for 60 days before getting the shares, not sure

hi the 1m per annum limit is from based on the registration ,plz feel free to use our margin if you are a quite frequent trader .our margin rate is only 6.8%p.a.

MooMoo SG is terrible. They charge USD150 per US stock per transfer out to another broker platform including MooMoo MY. It is not advisable to hold non Malaysian stocks in Moomoo SG. Please make this video.

Hi, sure! I'll put that into my to-do list! But to answer your question, you can actually only withdraw MYR for Moomoo MY (so you have to convert back to MYR first ya)

from the features they offered, i think it is beginner friendly. one they have paper trading that helps users to practice and test their strategies without using real money, and they also have Ai tools that help users with decision making so yeah

They are pretty user friendly, but have a lot more features that might have a little bit learning curve too

They are pretty user friendly actually! Might not be 100% beginner-proof because there are certain features and UI that has a little bit of learning curve, but it's not the hardest!
