This design, in my opinion, for the money, is the best tool out there for removing shells from moon clips Ranch Products and Wilson Combat make the exact same tool but for less money. RP $3.99 and WC at $4.99 at MidwayUSA. I just bought one of each to compare them...they are exactly the same in all dimensions. An interesting fact: Sierra's reloading manual lists loads specifically for revolvers in.45 Auto showing a 200-300 fps increase in velocity and a large increase in foot pounds of energy! The do warn though, those loads should never be used in any semi-auto pistol!!!

Can that tool be used to LOAD the moon clips if you catch the litle tab on the hole in the center of the moonclip , and then wrap the tool around the outside of the cartridge and attempt to lever it INTO position on the clip ?

I have a 460 S&W and a 500 S&W. Do they make moon clip unloader tools for these cases? I would get them both equipped for moon clips if this tool was available.

Bro the .45 acp and .45 colt are low recoil ammo that is fun and accurate to shoot!!! The governor is solid as it gets!!!!! The 410 handgun defense loads recoil hard but is still a blast !!!!

That's the only moon clip tool that's worth a tripe. It's extremely tedious, but it doesn't fall apart while using it. I've had a few of the fancy types, bought the best one. $50 bucks, it barely lasted two boxes of ammo. Or I used a screwdriver inside the empty cartritand pulled.

Yeah I just picked up a Taurus 9mm revolver. I can’t get regular rounds to load , all I can get that pop easily into the moon clips are those shiny home defense loads with the orange plastic tips . It came with 6 moon clips so I guess it’s my nite stand pistol.

$7.34 for a two foot of 1/2 copper tubing at home depot. Cut into 4 6 inch pcs cut a notch just over 1/2 of end dia. And 1/8 inch deep. Great dwmooner. Cut the futter off a cheap can opener and remove the revit that keeps it from opening too much and you have a loader

+live4wild I've taken mine shooting once since I got it. .45 acp & .45colt are fun to pop out of it. 45 Colt Judge/Governor 220gr Maximum Expansion Ammo from Lehigh Defense may be the buzzer loads though!!!!

the $40.00 moon clip tool is worth it. im cheap but after bending clips so slightly and cut fingers, plus easy loading 16-clips in 3.5 min's i got one. had the one from brownells. made one too.

you can load and remove empty cases sooo easy,plus you can change arbor for any cal. or mm. you want. well made too. you load the clips that become speed loaders. with my Governor i started at7yds. now i'm hitting 16 oz. water bottles at 25yds. with .45acp ball ammo.i know it is not a High Standard .22 target pistol how ever this wheel gun is just plain fun.
