I really enjoy the way marvel have kept things fresh with new themes and genres - theres a common thing i used to hear people say, that "every superhero movie is the same", and for a while they were quite similar in just general vibes with all the sterotypes - but they're really playing with some new genres now like when they did a sitcom for wandavision and now the horror vibes in moon knight... its just great stuff.

Steven thinks he is sleep walking, and is shocked when he learns it's something very different. as a kid I was extremely into Egypt and its mythology, so this immediately soared up to one of my favourite MCU entries. buckle up for one amazaing ride!

This show is SO GOOD. It's one of my favourites as well, next to Loki. I am really excited for you to see it. I absolutely adore Steven. I want to wrap him in a blanket and give him a hug. Oscar Isaac, according to the making of, in preparation for the role, went completely method for months and talked like Steven all day, to his kids and everything :D

The filming location is in Hungary, you can find that round square on streetview too (Szentendre, Fő tér) by the story it was Switzerland :) Also most of the "London" scenes were actually shot in Budapest, Hungary. They changed street signs, store fronts and all kind of stuff.

The castle that's supposedly in the Alps from which they shoot at Steven is actually from Germany, right from where I live. I was completely flabberghasted when it suddenly appeared in the Alps :D you can see that they added it in in post, because in reality there is a bridge connecting the entrance to the surroundings and here the entrance just kind of floats in the air :D

Oscar Issac surprised me in this with his accent. While not perfect it was pretty darn good, as good as Cumberbatch's American for Strange accent which has some cracks in it. Moon Knight was a bigger character when I was a kid but even then he was a fringe book. The origins and everything are really cool though I think you both are 100% on it with the comparison to DC. It has the vibes of Dr. Fate, The Specter, or other horror adjacent heroes from their stable. Can't wait until you get to the Netflix Marvel shows, Moonknight would fit right in with the tone of those shows.

Look man, his powers are all over the place since the 80s. The suit that comes from no where is silly but they've given that to basically every superhero that is on screen. As a TV adaptation, I think it was very entertaining and made the mental troubles the center of it, which if you only have a few episodes to show of Moon Knight, I'm glad that's what they kept.@@Trouble10

Oscar Isaac is an American with Latino background (born in Guatemala.) He's said that the British accent he used for Steven Grant here was intentionally imperfect. Little touches like that mess with your head, as Steven's life keeps making less and less sense, and neither he nor the audience can ever be sure what's real. This really is brilliantly done. Moon Knight is one of my favourite Marvel shows so far, you're in for a treat.

This first episode really was phenomenal, I don't really know that much about Moon Knight as a whole because I don't own any of the comics, but the character has appeared in many of the comics I do have, Like Spider-Man, Ironman, The Avengers, Hulk, Fantastic 4 etc, so I do know a little bits about his back story,.... No double-feature on this show?!? I was really excited for ep2! I think I just miss you guys... I started watching you guys on day 1 of LOST! And, I've watched EVERY SHOW reaction, EVERY MOVIE reaction, AND all the little things in between... So, when you started 2 new shows that I haven't seen, & probably won't watch them any time soon, It's kinda lonely-ish with just watching something once a week. But, at least with the SHOWS, Rob & Trin put 2 eps a week! They know we love that! Right?! ... Anyway... However, or Howlong it takes to watch this show. IT IS WORTH EVERY SECOND! Oscar's acting is IN-CREDIBLE. The writing, the fights, & some twists that will blow you away. Maybe that's why there's only 1 episode! You know what's coming, but you want to stretch it out!
