I like how in marvel rivals each character has a unique Melee that's not only a character specific animation but some of them are also multi hit combos that you can weave between your primary fire and abilities to do combos. It's pretty nice.

I do think cosmetics will thrive more in this game than in OW2. Marvel has a deep catalogue of different costumes, the devs can make original skins, and the game is in third person so you can ALWAYS see your skin? Rivals could have the same pricing and I would be more forgiving towards them than I am OW2.

Yea, they always reveal characters in pairs. The only characters that we’ve seen artwork for but aren’t in the game yet are Hawkeye and Cloak and Dagger. I suspect those are the next 2 reveals.

@@piccaro0901 Or Hawkeye and Black Widow, she has not been fully revealed, but a cosmetic sprite the showed her entire design was leaked some time ago, and I mean, it would make sense for the two of those to be launched together... Although it would mean having even more duelists/DPS over other roles, which is one of the key factors for why so much people prefer to play DPS than other roles in these type of games... But we'll see.

@@piccaro0901 Cloak and Dagger already got leaked in the Alpha via datamine. They're just a copy of Hel from Smite. Unless they changed something from Alpha which I doubt. You play one at a time just like Hel. Dagger heals and buffs. Cloak damages and debuffs.

Ancient Ankh, when it hits a surface it briefly pulls enemies towards the center, if you shoot at it with the basic attack or the crescent moon attack it will bounce up to 3 times per enemy heroe inside the Ankh's range, you have two stacks of it and it can be shot down by enemy heroes (it doesn't have a lot of health, it's like two basic attacks from supports).

More than one ankh is going to be SO bad on defense. You're going to walk through a door and just get removed from the game. Worse, because you can break them and he's purposefully an AOE damage character that punishes grouping, this is going to be the worst noobstomper in the game. Noobs NEVER break turrets, and they love grouping up. I think it's a very cool ability that doesn't just remove the aim aspect for absolutely free, I just don't think there should be more than one on the field at a time. Side note, moving OW2 to 5v5 has motivated the average silver/gold player to split up a bit and look for flanks. Maybe it's because they're getting better at the game, maybe it's just that only one tank doesn't offer enough protection, but it's been cool to watch happen regardless.
