In case anyone is wondering, yes, Nick Fury is actually white. Kinda. Let me explain. There's actually 2 Nick Furys in the comic universe; Nick Fury Sr, who was white, and his son Nick Fury Jr, who is black.

That's not 100% the case. The Nick Fury from the main 616 universe is white and outside of leading SHIELD, has a very different life and personality than the one we're familiar with. The one everyone knows, the MCU one, is based off the Nick Fury from the ULTIMATE universe, a parallel universe to the main one, which is also where Miles Morales lives. Well, lived. See the universes- nevermind, that's long and unimportant. Nick Fury is white. Except when he isn't.
