Moon Light: engine Test, Propellers, Exhaust, and More

In this video we cover a lot of ground as this project is moving right along. We test fit the exhaust before final welding, install the wraps, install the propellers, get the generator on the deck ready for sea trial and more. Stay tuned the sea trial will be coming soon.

Seaboard marine sorry but for emergency reason and others a diver most be able to remove a prop under water and for this reason epoxy is not the way to go so thats that . Two nuts plus the pin is the only way to go

Nothing like putting prop nuts on wrong... Guess that epoxy makes up for it doing it backwards...

Hey we know it's not the "conventional" method, but its proven with a 30 year track record. Say what you will but this works 100 percent of the time. Just because something has been done a certain way for a long time doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. If you like little nut first go for it, honestly it probably doesn't matter that much if you do everything else right. The epoxy is a pretty sweet trick though. Comes off easy with heat.

Naval engineers designed it to be small first .. never seen one come off my way.. seen big but first come off .. like I said your counting on the epoxy

If you've seen props come off it wasn't because of the order of the nuts. The concept of "one right way" stiffles innovation. Don't be a hater, I said it's fine if you do it your way. "Engineers" come up with a lot of bad designs. Just because "engineers" say doesn't mean it will pan out in the real world.

7:24 Your man doesn't know how to use a Crescent wrench. The stroke should always be into the movable part of the wrench. So in this case, only the middle stroke is correct.

I doubt Brenden hurt the wrench or the bolt by flipping the wrench around to get a different angle on the bolt. I mean, I get what you are saying but kind of nit picking there.
