Somebody gonna hate me for this, but I need to said it. Moona very specialized in EN song, I think she's the best, no.1 period. When she's singing JP she's struggling except some song, we can't deny that, what I think is her EN singing techniques haven't yet fully integrated with JP song, maybe because she not understood Japanese yet, I eagerly wait when she could integrated her technique fully, when that time come she's gonna be the best V-singer Hololive have.

@@hohens7118 I got news for ya, check her latest archived karaoke and you'll find Utada Hikaru's First Love karaoke in there. She have sung that twice now, and I personally cannot distinguish which is Moona's and which is the original singer whenever I play it in sync

imho it's mostly because she tend to get nervous when singing any new song (let alone a song in an unfamiliar language), she tend to second guessing the note and the lyric which made her unable to using her full singing skills optimally. You can actually see the difference by comparing her first GHOST rendition with her latest karaoke with the song

Moona Singing JP songs: Her fanbase: kalm, wholesome, absolutely in love. Moona singing EN songs: Her fanbase: *pukes lava due to extreme internal combustion* You may liked her for her OG and official JP cover MVs but you WILL and SHOULD love her in her Western music, the only archived and official English cover she have literally is the top most viewed in her channel, VILLAIN by K/DA and the commenters whether they regularly visits her streams or just casual MV looper praises her "kill me plenty" vocal techniques.

​@@catdog1584 don't worry, it's because Moona are the first rising star ID branch have at the time. both Moona and Risu marked their own title. it's long enough for others being recognized. Risu got her recognition after the holofest. Kobo similar like Gura who have decent control and creative improvisation. while I personally, see Moona and Risu have their own strength that not many holo member have. the fact that their Origin song are hard to be sang by others really shown how high their skill in singing. Kobo are the next rising star, it's just I didn't see her " strength " that made her " it's Kobo " yet. it's because, we got similar singing character like Gura. while Gura already a legend on her own right, what I see from Kobo soo far is her strength of crafting song that made her stand out.
