@Moonbo The Dornier Do X is a hell of a rebuild of a real seaplane that was build 1928-1931. She even visited Miami and New York. Due to the big weight and the relative small engines available at that time they used 16 engines to power the plane. So every propeller had its own engine. That plane was massive. There are even a few films available with her in flight.

First of all not only do you review builds in creative, but also BUILD THEM YOURSELF, not like all the others. Then everyone does survival but you build big things. The Catamaran is both aquatic and can drive up on land. It's a real thing. There is a version that works with Augers IRL but they are not common.

24:50 things like this were originally called air ships, there predecessor is the sea plane. The initial motivation to build them was, I believe so military planes wouldn't need runways, however aircraft carriers made that part obsolete. Then with jet power slowly taking over they pretty much faded away into history, though, if I remember correctly, Canada still has 2 currently operating as forest fire control. Unfortunately due to how old they are and how they no longer have parts being made for them, it's only a matter of time before they(possibly the last 2 operational air ships in the world) will have to be decommissioned. And sadly, they'll probably be scrapped. Not entirely sure if the will, but I'm hoping not. It's extremely important to keep history for the future generations. Besides, it is technically still possible to modify, upgrade and redesign them to be better.
