its not the amount of drivers making them big, its just the placement of the DD, you can have 20 drivers per side in a smaller format, the bass on these are universially agreed upon is weak. I actually dont think you got a seal even. the lows the mids and the highs am i right.....

The value for these imo to the rest of the market is pretty bad imo. The one thing driving this up i assume would be that meteor faceplate, but the driver count and quality just doesnt compete. Other conpanies have more accessories as well

Sound is subjective. Both are different sounding and meant for different types of listening. Only you can decide if one is better than the other

The meteor has less bass overall, darker treble. Its a vocal focused IEM like the RSV from softears. If you EQ mid warmth with subbass extension and a bit more air its a good scaler. Sonic performance you should pick dusk. Way safer and comes with a solid source unlike the meteor which benefits from a chord mojo or iFi higher end dac.

If youre not a audiophile or in the hobby at all except in consumer products than this isnt for you I own the Dark Saber from moondrop and comparing it to the variations and Meteor its a another step and flavor above. Audio is a luxury not a necessity. You dont need these but once you own a kilobuck. Personal enjoyment is alot of the reason to own over diminishing returns.
