Your a little farther in your journey as I'm currently using a DPDT currently as I also looked off of that Cheesy site but wanted to add a speed controller. I too dont know how to read the electronic diagrams and appreciate you walking through what is happening and how it works. Both of your videos are well narrated in regards to the camera slider. Thanks for the help.

THANK YOU!! Ever since Cheesycam did his, (Which I could not get working), I have been wanting to have where you can add speed control in there, since I do a LOT of documentaries and interviews, having it at a slower speed reduces the motor noise by a TON. I will be buying the parts and trying this again with your diagram. I also would LOVE to see how you did the capture control module added to this setup!!

Great stuff man.. jus wondering if it was possible to use a pwm with a reversible switch to overcome the issue of the head going towards sw2.. in other words, if you turn on the slider and the head begins sliding toward sw1 you flip the reversal switch and that would cause it to head in the opposite direction so no need to reverse the polarity of the motor.. just an idea.. looking to add this motorized slider function to a dumb slider myself.. thanks for all the info so far.. great job.. btw are you using any king of portable power for this?
