Good that you are using a TPDT relay, but you should get the OCTAL relays.

Thanks for sharing this, it works!. i made some modification by adding digital timer relay and it works like a big ass intervalometer. i just need to connect it to the camera. please share more interesting stuff! Cheers!

This is great!! I just ordered the IGUS W16 and a Servocity motorized kit. 1. Is the 3PDT the same relay that cheesycam uses. Or is it different since you're using a speed control. 2. Does the speed control act as an on/off switch. Or does things just start moving when you plug it in,,,lol. I really appreciate YOUR simplified diagram. Like you, I don't understand electronics. But if you dumb it down for me I can do it,,,lol.

One can use 3 simple and easy to find SPDT relays for this project. All three coils of the relays need to be wired together in parallel and then they will act as a single TPDT relay.

But why? You are just adding extra work. 3PDT relays are easy to get.

Quick question I'm doing a similar setup with a 90vdc motor, I can't find a 3pdt relay rated for 90vdc but I do have one one for 120vac should it still work?
